The juxtaposition of the simple football game Norman Rockwell painted in his 1950
"Coin Toss" to what the game has turned into in 2024 is pretty wild to think about.
I'm sure that his depiction looked very similar to the first game with the Aggies and Longhorns back in 1894.
Now, a hundred and thirty years later, A&M vs Texas is the most expensive ticket in history, and 110,000 fans bought in for the experience with millions more watching at home.
I took a lot of artistic liberties with this one!
It is not all reality. I even guessed wrong on the uniform combos...
But I hope you enjoy it.
